Thank you so much to those who tuned in to my live today! We made a few flavors including cheesecake, pumpkin spice, everything, apple cinnamon, sprinkle and cinnamon raisin. The pumpkin spice and one of the everything loaves were made with a vegan dough (upper right) we also tired an 8 strand braid and it turned out great! (Also on the pan in the upper right, the left loaf) it was a busy and fun day. I hope the recipients of these love them!

One of the good things about all of this social distancing is that there are so many opportunities to join programs all around the country and the world. Tonight is hosting a ! In normal times, I never would have been able to join in, but this year it was possible because of Zoom! The timing is also perfection because I normally make challah on Friday mornings, but due to a work project, I won’t have time to make it tomorrow. Jonah asked for a J shaped challah with sprinkles and the everything challah is for my lovely customer Jen.

If anyone would like a challah or two for Thanksgiving, please let me know soon! I already have a few pre orders and I want to fit everyone in who wants one!

Thank you again to everyone who has supported my little challah, I truly appreciate it more than you know!

Hi friends! After taking a couple of weeks of down time, I am back and ready to make you some delicious challah! I have a couple of spots open left this week still! Send me a message if you would like to order 🙂 I am going to experiment with some braiding videos this week. Should be fun!

Hi everyone! Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make challah this week (everything is totally fine!) next week will be back to normal! I plan on posting some braiding videos because I got a handy new phone holder that will allow for easier recording. I will see you all next week!!!

I follow another challah maker called The Challah Prince here on Facebook and he makes these super cute apple rolls so I decided to try them out. They are super easy and they came out looking awesome!!! I sprinkled some with cinnamon and sugar and left some of them plain. They came out a little big (not a problem) but I’d maybe try to make smaller ones next time!

I had some extra challah dough to work with today so I decided to make one for us. I couldn’t decide between cheesecake or pumpkin so I thought why not combine the two?!

I present you with pumpkin cheesecake challah! I’m not sure how it tastes yet-that will happen later tonight, but if it’s good, I’m happy to offer to add it to the menu for $10/loaf. I will let you know how it tastes!

I need to show you all this! I recently discovered a challah baker called The Challah Prince. He hosted a zoom class today about his dough (which is vegan by the way) and he showed a new braid and I knew I had to try it. This is my new favorite braid I think! This challah is huge. I’d say it would serve 6-8 people.
