THATS THE BIGGEST LADY BUG IVE EVER SEEN!

Me too ladies and gents, only, it’s a bit of a mimic.

While I’m not entomologist, I THINK this beetle belongs in the tortoise beetle family. If you know otherwise, pls drop it in the comments!

Lady bugs are often avoided by predators because of their stinky nature when in danger. Have you ever accidentally squished one? 🤢. Other animals and insects will often times mimic another to protect themselves. This one is doing a pretty good job fooling us humans!

My summer camp kids are always the bravest of the bunch. Does this photo freak you out? Stay with me a minute.

Pictured here is a notoriously curious and friendly spider. It’s commonly known as the jumping spider as it doesn’t create webs for its prey but jumps to catch it. What does that mean for us? No sticky webs to walk into!

These cuties hide in crevices and only the adventurous ones will say hello, tilting their little heads to look up at you (I’m not joking!)

So give these babies a chance.
