Job Title: Line Cook – Food Truck
Job Description:
We seek an energetic and reliable Line Cook to join our dynamic food truck team. As a line cook, you will prepare and cook food according to our established recipes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure every dish meets our high-quality standards. This fast-paced, customer-facing role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a passion for food.
Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and customer orders.
Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cooking station during service hours.
Food Safety Compliance: Following food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring all food is handled and stored safely.
Quality Control: Ensure dishes are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the food truck team to ensure smooth operations, including restocking and setup for the next service.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally engage with customers during service to clarify orders or discuss menu options.
Adaptability: Handle multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
Familiarity with food truck operations is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a small, mobile kitchen environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
