Thank you SO much for understanding that I needed to take last weekend off—but I sure did miss you guys! 🥰

I don’t know about you, but that first week of school is always a BUSY one around here! 📚✏️ Between getting back into routines and all the craziness that comes with a new school year, I’m ready for a little weekend baking therapy! 😂

Just a little reminder that Edna Street Stand will NOT be out this weekend because we’ll be celebrating my precious nephew’s birthday! 🎂🥳💙

As much as I’ll miss seeing all of your smiling faces, I’m pretty sure cake, family, and birthday fun are a pretty good reason to take the weekend off! 😉

But don’t worry… WE’LL BE BACK! 🎉

Thank you all so much for another incredible weekend at Edna Street Stand! I truly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for every visit, every kind conversation, and every bit of support you’ve shown.

Of course, I love baking for you all, but really… getting to meet so many wonderful people has been the very best part of this adventure. You all have made this little stand into something special!

After such an amazing weekend, I thought it would be fun to spread the love and support other home bakers! This morning my family and I picked up cake pops from Madesweetbyjayme , and they were absolutely delicious! 😍

My favorite was the red velvet, but the kids were adamant that cookies & cream was the winner. 😂🍰

Now I need your help! What are your favorite local home bakeries, farm stands, or food carts? Drop all your recommendations in the comments! I’d love to check them out and support some more amazing small businesses. 💛

You all made the cinnamon rolls and strawberry rolls disappear SO fast yesterday, so I made sure to bake plenty more for today! 🙌

One of the little perks of waking up way before the sun to bake? 🌅💛

The house is quiet, the strawberry rolls are in the oven, and I get a few peaceful minutes to curl up with a good book. Honestly… I can’t think of a much better way to start the day. 📚🍓

I’m only about 150 pages into this one, but it is SO. SO. SO. GOOD. 🤩

📚✨ A little fun fact about me that you may or may not know…

For 10 months out of the year, I work at an elementary school here in Millard.I’m also a full-time college student working toward my degree in Special Education. ❤️

As the school year gets ready to kick off, that means the schedule at Edna Street Stand needs a little update too!

🎉 Next week the stand will be CLOSED because we’ll be celebrating my sweet little nephew’s birthday! Family time is the best time. 💙

🥖 I do still have a couple pre-order spots left for next week if you’d like to grab some sourdough while the stand is closed!

📅 Beginning August 15th, the stand will be open every Saturday with fresh sourdough breads and baked goodies waiting for you!

As much as I absolutely LOVE summer break, I’m honestly so excited to get back into the routine of a new school year. New students, fresh starts, and all the excitement that comes with it! 🍎✏️

I’ve had so many requests for my sourdough oatmeal cookies (without turning them into oatmeal cream pies 😉). And after they disappeared so quickly last week, I knew I had to make more!
