Always Smok'd BBQ Always Smok'd BBQ Competition Team We started our BBQ journey on the couch watching Pittmasters and many other food shows about BBQ.

Chris quickly upgraded the vertical smoker to two electric box smokers. Every weekend he was making the neighbors jealous, filling the air with sweet and smoky smells. Then he received an old charcoal smoker that wasn’t being used and Chris’s passion really began to blossom. He loved the art of it and the craft of figuring out your own individual smoker, his favorite meats, timing, and flavors. Ch

ris competed in his first competition in 2013. Stephanie, his wife, was very jealous of being the assistant at home, but not at competitions, so she pulled the wife card and got a spot on the team. Always Smok’d BBQ was officially formed in 2014.
