Benson Bounty is a 1.5 acre family-run farm in the Benson neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska that specializes in fresh, high quality produce and value-added farm products.

An open invite to come create & details about our handmade mini bouquets follow:

These are at the top of the list of our most eco-friendly products ♻️ 🌿 The blooms are primarily native flowers that perform beautifully during the growing season without added irrigation. These plants provide food & shelter sources for wildlife and keep our soil covered, all in exchange for little maintenance.

Flowers are sustainably harvested (we leave plenty for wildlife) and air dried. Additionally, the stems that are sifted out of bulk herb processing are the perfect medium to give these little bundles some greenery and extra body. They are fastened with twine, and the minis shown are available in our online shop with or without additional kraft paper packaging for protection.

Looking forward to sharing this creative process on Thursday, October 22nd from 5-7 PM at the BFF MaMO gallery! Come make a bouquet for yourself and another to gift to the community. All extras created will be distributed to gallery visitors during Benson First Friday on November 6th.

This workshop is free & open to the public, let’s get outside and make some stuff 💐 All supplies provided, varieties available differ slightly from these photos.

Check it out! Michelle & Holly of District 2 Floral Studio have been planning an immersive gallery exhibit built for community engagement and packed with elements of creative reuse, waterwise landscaping, composting, sustainability, and sensory activities.

CONVERSION is the process of changing something from one form to another, of breathing new life into something that would otherwise become landfill waste. Set to open in October at the MAMO Gallery. A stacked lineup of events. We'd love to see you there!

Thank you for seeing us and for inviting us to your table. Something that hasn’t changed since we started this small business journey: fresh quality work and building relationships. A recent review hit home on many levels and sums up what we strive for 🍑 🫑 🫐

Summer’s flying! Here are some of the things that kept two people buzzing around over the past month+

➡️ garlic dill refrigerator pickles, fresh frozen aronia berries & seasonal produce orders available through our online shop

➡️ wildflower buckets & bouquets added to our offerings

➡️ freshly stocked rhubarb elder flower syrup, savory herb blend, italian herb blend, flower sachets, flower confetti & other dried goods

➡️ native plantings and garden maintenance in downtown Benson

➡️ visits from interns, volunteers, a local florist friend, and an AWESOME turnout for our pollinator party event & farm tour

➡️ bountiful deliveries to the post office, local customers & some of our favorite chef friends and small business owners

➡️ family, friends and the usual invasive w**d management & farm maintenance 🤣

Listening to our community keeps things fresh 🌿✨

➡️ Beginning this year: veggies, fruit, and culinary & medicinal herbs will be available in our online shop alongside eggs, flowers and products. Check in often! The availability list grows quickly as the seasons progress.
