When in Italy and you see Zuppa Toscana on the Menu - it’s a sure thing you’ll be tasting the real roots of this Soup.
The Olive Garden might have made Zuppa Toscana popular in the states, but its origins begins in the hills of the Tuscany region of Italy. A peasant meal made with a mix of carrots, and beans and ground meat in a rich brown broth is a true Italian experience.
But we want to give you a taste of Nebraska.
Our soup is made with Little Mountain Ranch & Garden Italian sausage, potatoes, bacon and a bit of finely chopped kale all in broth and oat milk.
The soup is ready to eat or store in the freezer for that first snowy day

Story time Saturday! A Barn holds so many stories. Back in 2013 there was an old falling down barn on the farm. We had the Ponca Hills Firedept burn it down - and that is where our Post And Beams barn stands today.
13 years have since past. The loft is filled with small bales of alfalfa. The double doors on the front open to the main floor- about 1000 square feet. During Pop Up Season you’ll find venders, friends and the fresh smell of alfalfa.

A barn protects us from the wind and rain. A barn provides comfort and a place for community.

Come October 25th we celebrate fall with our 8th Annual Soup Pop Up.
We invite you all into the barn. You’ll find a table of ready to eat small batch soups. #8 kinds to be exact- all made with love and joy- from me - to you.
So come into our barn October 25th. We will be waiting for you.

We will have A vegan sweet corn chowder available at our 8th Annual Soup Pop Up on October 25th😋😋🌽🌽
Made with our Sweet Corn harvested in July. Non dairy milk, potatoes, spices and white beans for protein - this soup is a complete meal😋

Asian Inspired savory orange tomato soup with edamame.
Tomato Pesto
And
Butternut Coconut Curry with Black lentils
Or with out lentils.

Throw back Thursday!
Our farm is blessed with 10 old yet producing apple trees. This summer Bonnie Day stopped by and told me the story about how her Dad planted the trees in the 1940s. She was just a young girl then but she recalled the taste of these apples like it was today.
❤️
And fast forward today and we are making apple c***r with apples from those trees. The c***r is made from a mix of different apples varieties and including a bucket from my dad’s tree.

We will be selling by the gallon soon.
When you taste - you’ll smile and taste sweet delicious history ❤️😋😋😋🍎

Sweet Corn Chowder is our fan favorite.
Made with our non gmo sweet corn- picked and froze just for you. The combination of bacon, potatoes , corn and a few spices makes this soup our number one seller.
Asian inspired orange tomato soup.
My twist on that Asian orange gingery salad dressing.
Made with an heirloom orange Roma, some carrot and onion and a bit of ginger. Smooth silky taste with a bit of satisfying brightness.

In honour of county and state fair season- here’s a throw back of me.
Circa 1980
Fairs bring back memories of showing cattle. Thanks to Dad for helping select - break to lead- these beef steers.
It was always a hot, stressful day but ended in smiles- and wonderful memories❤️
Here’s to all 4-Hers past and present that showed animals at the fair 👏👏🎉
