I’ve been so busy mom-ing, baking, and generally running around like a crazy person that I completely forgot to actually POST some of the goodies coming to the Nook this weekend 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

So here’s a little look

☕ Maple Sticky Bun Chilled Coffee
Made with oat milk and all the cozy maple-cinnamon goodness. I’ll be keeping these chilled but ice-free so they don’t get watered down before you get them. Just pour over ice at home! 🤎

🍎 Maple Apple Bread
And YES... I fixed the streusel 😂🙌🏼 Soft maple apple bread with a crumbly streusel top that is behaving itself this time.

🍌 Browned Butter Sourdough Banana Bread
An absolute mouthful of a name... but at least you know exactly what you’re getting 😂 Browned butter, sourdough discard, bananas, and chocolate chips. 🤎

I've noticed all the fall flavors starting to make their way back and I am SO excited. But we're not quite done with summer yet!
This weekend there will be a little bit of summer and a little bit of fall.

🍂 BACK-TO-SCHOOL HOURS AT LU'S NOOK! 🍂

Now that school is back in session, we're switching things up.

Starting this weekend, Lu's Nook will be open:

🕗 Saturday: 8 AM–8 PM
🕗 Sunday: 8 AM–8 PM

So no more Friday hours for now! We're going back to our Saturday + Sunday schedule!

Even though summer vacation is over and fall is 29 days away I still wanted to have one last hoorah for summer.

Think a little bit of summer ☁️🍑, a little bit of fall 🍎🍂, and some new things I've been dying to try.

The Nook isn't out this weekend, but that doesn't mean I haven't been thinking about September's baked goods. 😂🍂

I’m not gonna lie, I’m VERY ready for fall baking. I’ve been playing around with ideas for the September menu and I want to know what you guys actually want to see!

I’m thinking...
Apple... Peach....Caramel + cinnamon.... Cozy fall desserts.... savory sourdough....A couple fun fall drinks

And I have an idea for a layered dessert jar that I’m kinda excited about 👀

So tell me...

What fall flavor or dessert would make you stop at the Nook?

Apple? Maple? Caramel? Peach? Something chocolatey? Something I haven't even mentioned? Minus pumpkin cause that's for October 😉

It’s officially back-to-school week! So we’re taking this weekend off at Lu’s Nook to get everyone settled into the new school-year routine.

There will be no Nook this weekend, August 21–23.

But don’t worry, we’ll be back the following weekend!

Thank you for always being so understanding when real life occasionally needs to take the front seat. ❤️

Went to put out the Nook this morning and found someone so kindly left a bag of cucumbers!

I don't know who donated these, and I don't know if they even follow this page but I hope they know how much I appreciate it.

Someone put their time and hard work into growing these, then chose to share what they grew with our little stand and our community. That kind of kindness absolutely does not go unnoticed. 🥹

So, mystery cucumber fairy... thank you. 💚 Your cucumbers have officially joined the Nook! 🥒✨
