Thirsty Thursday Watering Tip: One of my secret weapons to vigorous plants is sprinkling mycorrhizae fungi on the dirt whenever I plant seeds or on the root ball before transplanting. In addition, I add a half teaspoon to every gallon of water to continue to inoculate my plants and manage root health. (Once my plants are established I usually stop and only add once a month) This helps your soil stay in an acceptable PH range, which helps ALOT for potted plants. If the PH gets out of the acceptable zone your plant won’t be able to absorb nutrients. Simple little addition to your care routine for a lil’ boost to get your plants started with a healthy root system.
