🥹💗 I LOCKED THE DOOR FOR THE LAST TIME TODAY… 💗🥹
And I’m not going to lie… this one hurts.
Today I stood behind the counter at Fizzy Fusions for the last time in the place that became so much more than just a storefront.
I made the last drinks.
I served the last customers.
I cleaned the counters one more time.
And at the end of the day, I turned off the lights and locked the door.
For the last time. 🥹
It’s hard to explain what that feels like when you’ve poured so much of yourself into something.
There were days this place was packed with laughter and conversations. Days I couldn’t make drinks fast enough. Days I went home exhausted but so incredibly thankful.
And there were hard days, too. Days I wondered if I could keep going. Days I questioned everything. Days when owning a small business felt heavier than anyone on the outside could ever see.
But through every single one of those days, Fizzy Fusions was mine. 💗
It was my crazy idea. My dream. My place to create. A place where I got to know your orders before you even told me. 😂 A place where kids came running in excited for their favorite drink. A place where customers became familiar faces, and familiar faces became friends.
And tonight, my heart is just full.
Full of sadness because this chapter is ending, but even more full of gratitude because I got to have this chapter at all.
To everyone who ever walked through those doors…
Thank you.
Thank you for choosing my little business when you could have spent your money anywhere else.
Thank you for every drink you bought, every post you shared, every friend you told, every event you attended, every encouraging word you gave me, and every time you walked through the door and reminded me why I started.
Thank you to the people who showed up on the hard days.
Thank you to the people who believed in Fizzy even when I was struggling to believe in it myself.
And thank you to everyone who showed up today to help me say goodbye to our first storefront. I will never forget it. 💗
This building may no longer have a Fizzy Fusions sign on it, but Fizzy Fusions is so much bigger than four walls.
This is NOT the end.
For now, you’ll still find me popping up at events, mixing your favorite dirty sodas, energy drinks and lemonades while I work toward figuring out exactly what Fizzy’s next chapter looks like. 🥤✨
Someday, I hope I get to unlock another door, turn on another Fizzy sign, and welcome you all inside again.
But tonight…
I’m going to be proud of what we built.
I’m going to be thankful for every memory made inside those walls.
From the absolute bottom of my heart…
