It's been a busy few days.
Evelyn bred her bunnies and her doe George had her first litter yesterday! Three healthy little French/Holland lop kits.
They will be for sale in about ten weeks. They're all hers, so she will be selling them when they're ready to leave their mother.
We also did a welding project! We welded Molly's dad's trailer back together yesterday. We replaced rotted out pieces and will be returning it to him tomorrow!
Travis has also been making custom spice racks to order. This one was made of maple!

This past weekend we brought some of our wooden creations to a plow days to sell, and shared a table with John Deere Barbie and her leather creations.
We have a lot of left overs (because of the rain) that are still for sale!
If you're interested in any of the items, comment on the picture!
(We can ship)

We hand made everything with a scroll saw, hand burned details with a wood burner.
No lasers or computer programs, just hand made goodies made with blood and sweat. (No one's cried over it yet)

We're making more so, if you have a request for a particular type of wood or a particular design idea, feel free to reach out.

We're living the suburban life and acquiring new hobbies!
No farm = hobbies

I have been branching out from the scroll saw art, to building functional things. I made Molly a spice shelf for Christmas, then another for a customer and a third for the Perry FFA auction, and another for another customer still to make. Apparently I'm taking orders for them, now!

Molly and I wanted to make all home made gifts for Christmas this year, so we learned how to do a little leather working as well. We made 5 belts, and two lanyards.

We've been busy with other things too, Evelyn and Charlie got Holland Lop bunnies from Christmas that they'll show at the pike fair this summer.

Molly still does painting, she just finished one for the Perry FFA auction, and she's been making wooden earrings on the scroll saw too.

Charlie had to stay home from school sick, but was feeling better, so I took him to the pavilion auction barn. He wanted to take all the calves home. He proudly carried our number around.

I had a good hunting season and harvested two deer, that we've been processing at home. Charlie and Evelyn love to be the taste testers.

It has been a bit since I have put up a post and a lot has changed.
The biggest thing to change is my wife got a new job teaching Agriculture at the school in Perry, so we sold the house and moved to western NY.
I did keep one of the puppies, her name is Milo. But where we're renting, we don't have any outdoor animals.
I am not working on small engines in my shop. I got a job in the shop at Landpro, working on John Deere equipment again.
We are still doing things with animals, Evelyn is in 4H and today she showed for the first time Molly's class room bunny George at the Wyoming county fair.
Without outdoor animals and my 8-5 job we have tried a couple new things like making wooden trinkets and I tried to make a wood carving( didn't cut any of my limbs off with the chainsaw).
We will be experimenting with adding things to the business and merging Molly's business (Hillside Flowers) with this one in the future. Stay tuned to see what this becomes!
