Im watching Virgin River and now I know why I get so many weird looks when I tell people I want to have an inground greenhouse... and why they walk away when I mention shipping containers... lmsao! I really just want lettuce people... greens not green!

All day... though I am grateful and truly blessed the "getting out" part has only been a few small ones and 1 bull that I could lead back in to the fenced pasture with a bucket of oats... it was 4 times that day but he kept following.. ps he makes a delicious hamburger!

Just seen a post selling newborn Scottish Highland calves... I was pretty sick to my stomach that people sell calves so young... they need their mother, yes things happen and bottle babies happen, HOWEVER, upon further looking, I found three different people selling THE SAME CALVES! I realize scammers are scammers but why cant admins do a quick Google search, like I did, and see that these are scams and refuse to post and remove their access... these are private pages and its very disturbing! Please dont give them your info, your money or your friends list! We can all do better! I tried to find a way to share with admins and only way was to make a public post! Thank you for listening to my rant!

Did you know that you can purchase a quarter-split, a half, or a whole beef?

In all my fun putting together my posts I didn't mention this in any of my information... I now realize that not everyone keeps a chest freezer, or two or yes, soon, five!

Did you know that the price per pound and processing is the same whether you purchase a whole, half or split quarter?

Why do people choose a whole - many want full briskets or full Prime rib roasts for events throughout the year. What if you don't have the freezer capacity for a whole?

Then maybe a half or quarter-split works better for you

People that choose a half receive half of the brisket and can choose for a half prime rib roast or having that half sliced into ribeye steaks and those choosing a quarter receive steaks instead of the prime roast so we can provide equal portions to each person

Perhaps 500, 250 or even 125lbs of beef at once is over your storage capacity (these weights are only approximations) then I would encourage you to talk with me and we can work on a bundle package that fits you!

First time purchasing beef from your local farmer? It's a little different so here's our last cutting order with Roskom Meats, a harvest for personal use. I've added pricing from three retail stores for comparison. Price paid to farmer is for the beef itself, price paid to meat processing facility is for preparation from farm to your table... there are choices to be made and I am more than happy to help answer any questions you may have... the only dumb questions are those we don't ask!
