As a small business owner, I will ALWAYS do my absolute best to accommodate wants and needs, and have done this numerous times throughout the years.
However, as a small business owner I have a website, menu and flavor/ price list for a specific reason. These are flavors, and items I’ve worked VERY hard through the years to perfect and become what I think is worthy for my customers. Therefore, it is not appreciated or appropriate to dictate me on what I make, what flavors I make, and how I run my business.
I truly do my best to make it happen when I’m presented with desires and wants as far as product- but to disregard completely what I offer and express to me I should be making what’s brought forth to me no matter, is unacceptable. I do have the right to say no, which I would never ever do unless I personally do not feel comfortable making, or I truly know it will not work. I have worked long and hard to build my little business and name, so if I know a product will not work, I’m sorry but I will not take on.
There are plenty of talented bakers out there, which I have recommended and suggested when someone reaches out and I can not accommodate what they’re looking for. I would never leave someone hanging. However, coming forth with disrespect on how I operate my business is unacceptable.
I truly appreciate my customers and couldn’t thank you enough! I just needed to express some frustration from recent interactions.
