Thank you all for the amazing sourdough orders this weekend! We had strawberry and blueberry scones, bread, and cookies all over my kitchen. Every time there was a good photo of something behind the scenes, the timer would go off for the oven or my hands would be covered in dough. Thinking about having Ryan follow me around so I can give you all a tour of the kitchen and the behind the scenes... would that be interesting to anyone?

After all orders were packed, dropped off, and the farmstand set up, we got to work in the garden. Plants are coming along in the greenhouse and direct seeded in the garden. Ryan worked super hard on so many various projects to get the farm looking better. I did a ton of tiny tasks, but none of them on my to do list. You know how that is, but things are moving along. Can't wait to do another garden tour soon!

Memorial weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year. It starts a season of remembrance and gratitude- Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July. We are blessed by those who have fought for our freedoms and we are grateful to live here.

Ryan and I were able to work on a few small projects and the farm might not look like much has changed, but we have some sprucing up happening and I was finally able to get some plants going. I'm frustrated that I seeded so late, but at least we will have some veggies soon! Unfortunately, I was busy working and did not take enough photos. I'll work on getting some updates soon. This is our poppy field from a few years ago.
