I just knew it in my bones we would be receiving good news today. County finally responded and resecured our right to farm, so our rights are now protected. Yippie!!

Trying to avoid petroleum dyes and synthetic food coloring this Easter? There's still time to pick up some farm fresh eggs. Our hens lay natural rainbow eggs! Sage, blush, gold, sky blue, and lavender, no additives needed. Farm stand is restocked! Still fed locally grown and milled feed.

Hi everyone,

The eggs are back, and we're so happy to say it!

It's been a wild stretch: The past several months have been one of those seasons where everything seems to happen at once. County paperwork issues led us to relocate our chickens temporarily (even though we were told it wasn't strictly necessary), and the move threw off their laying. Just as they started to settle back in, predators hit their temporary enclosure hard, which made them stop laying again. Then Christmas week, our house flooded, and we lost our baby yak Christmas morning. Then the transmission went on our truck.

We're still standing, the sun is shining, and we finally have eggs available again.

Same prices as last year!
What's available now:
🥚 Chicken eggs Lg $5/dz, med $5/18pk

We don't keep these items at the stand, but we have it inside if you would like to add it to your order.
🥚 Goose eggs - (limited $5/ea)
🐐 USDA ground goat - $10/lb
🐇 Whole rabbit - $10/lb
🦆 Duck eggs coming soon - $8/dz

Our cottage food permit is back too, so more goodies are on the way as the weather cooperates. Let us know if you're looking for anything in particular!

Thank you for sticking with us. Your support is everything. If you found a new egg dealer, no hard feelings at all. And neighbors don't forget, love always wins! 💚

Winter is coming, the chickens have slowed down in laying. We respect their natural cycle so we have less eggs to go around once days start getting shorter.

So we have our egg order forms out at the stand, but feel free to send us a message to be added to the rotation as well.

Our USDA goat, ground and stew will also be available.

Most of you know by now, my favorite part of the day is collecting eggs. We’ve gathered so many different chickens over the years, most of them rehomed from people who could no longer care for them, and the result is this incredible rainbow of eggs. Every day feels like a surprise.

I usually can’t wait and end up collecting 2–3 times a day just to see what new colors are waiting in the nesting boxes.

After spending the day talking with several agencies at the federal, state, county, and town levels about yesterday’s side quest (all of whom seem to agree we’re in the right), coming home and collecting eggs was exactly what I needed.

There’s something grounding about it, quiet, simple, and full of small beauty. I snapped a photo of the basket in the chicken run to see how the chickens live from their POV.

🌾 Heartfelt Update from Our Family Farm 🌾

Hey everyone, we wanted to share a bit of what we encountered today.

Unfortunately, we’ve run into some challenges with town code enforcement, who don’t currently recognize our farm under their criteria. We’ve got all the proper documentation, so we know we are in the right and it is just a simple miscommunication that needs to be corrected. We welcomed them to tour any part of our property to see if there were unsightly smells, views, or sounds which we didn't need to do, but wanted to be fully transparent of our ability to stewart and improve our land.

But we’re committed to doing this the right way, with integrity and respect. Our farm is a place of healing and community, providing clean, nourishing food for many who share similar health needs.

We’re standing firm and confident that, legally, we’ll prevail. We appreciate all your support and encouragement as we navigate this journey. Together, we’re going to keep pushing forward and making a positive impact!

Thank you all for believing in us! 🌱❤️

We found a new friend yesterday! He looked all the way dehydrated, but some spring water brought him right back. 💚
