We started another 895 seeds yesterday. All the hard work for spring flowers doesn’t stop for us until the end of February. But spring is going to be so pretty.

This is celosia, it will be in our fall bouquets. Chrysanthemums will be blooming soon too. Fall flowers are just around the corner.

It’s that time of year when we start seeds for spring 2027.

Gold star for me this year because I’ve been more organized than usual, have all the seeds we’ll need, and have my seed-starting dates all planned.

It’s been bittersweet as my growing station has moved from my garage to the flower stand. For the last three years It’s been just me working after dinner in the garage starting all the seeds. This year Shannon and I are starting a lot of seeds so we needed to expand the growing station. Our new setup can hold triple the amount of seeds as before. Hopefully, if it all goes well we’ll have so many pretty flowers this spring.

When growing flowers I never thought about the other avenues I’d be journeying down. Doing any kind of even flowers was never on my radar but I must say I’d had a blast creating these arrangements.
