We’re pan-searing Red Snapper, placing it on a bed of Chile Verde Basmati with a Red Bell Pepper Reduction and finishing it with a creamy Avocado Mousse! It is with a mix of sadness and excitement that we announce our beloved friend and Executive Chef, Wilbur Cox Jr, will be embarking on a new journey, leaving us on Friday, 10/31/25. His presence has been a vital part of our team, and we will deeply miss him. Marcus, myself, and the entire staff wish him all the best in his next chapter and are thrilled to see the incredible things he will create.

Marcus and Wilbur's partnership began in 2009 in Baltimore, MD and then Wilbur joining us in 2020 when we acquired the second space. Wilbur's knowledge, leadership, creativity, and friendship have made these years truly unforgettable. As we bid him farewell, we are excited to see the impact he will make in his next adventure.

Marcus is eager to take on a more hands-on role, working closely with our very talented Chef team to continue the heart and soul of Wine Down, pushing the boundaries of creativity in our food and ever-changing menus.

Please join us in wishing Wilbur farewell between now and Friday.

Exciting things are coming!

Hello Friends and Wine Down Family! We are beyond thrilled about the exciting changes and celebrations we have lined up for August, and though we've faced a slight delay due to unforeseen medical issues, which also prevented us from celebrating in July, we're more determined than ever to make this month unforgettable.

Our chefs are working tirelessly to unveil new Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, and Dinner menus that will surely dazzle your taste buds! We're also busy scheduling a special wine dinner that's going to be an experience like no other.

This week, we are VERY excited to announce the return of our beloved 'LOBSTAH' Roll, a Wine Down favorite that will be back on the menu on Wednesday, August 6, just as Marcus enjoyed it growing up in Massachusetts.

Also, don’t miss out on our weekly specials, 1/2 Burger Night on Mondays, $1 Oysters on the Half Shell Tuesdays, and 1/2 bottle wine Wednesdays!
