Little Valor Update: she is doing so good! She is putting down some milk every day.

Her skin is peeling off from the flystrike, so we have had to keep dog shirts on her during the day.

LUNA Update: she is living her best life at the farm.

I plan to let the babies reunite tomorrow for a bit.

Sweet Vali weighed in at 42lbs today! She got a warm shower to wash her wounds and fresh dressings applied.

Then she put on her camping shirt to keep her from getting sunburnt since I had to shave her, and then she went to the farm.

I am hopeful she will get to play with her sister in a few more days. She ran for the first time today and my heart almost burst with happiness.

She is heaven sent. A precious silver highland heifer that I literally dreamed about and she came the day after losing Titan.

These are all names we have been going over. What is your vote?

Nova – "New," like the birth of a new chapter after loss.

Willow – A symbol of resilience and healing.

Luna – Elegant and associated with the moon's silver glow. This can also represent her being heaven sent after loss.

Ember – A spark that remains after loss

Ashe - reminds people of the phrase "rising from the ashes," representing hope, renewal, and life after loss.

Rain - rainbow after losing sweet Titan
