We’ve been pretty quiet on the farm page recently, but that’s because our newest farm hand joined us last month!

We’ve started breeding for the spring time, and I’ll get the breeding list posted some time soon (hopefully). As of right now though, we’re enjoying cuddles and Truvy sniffs🤍

The last ✨surprise✨ baby of the year (😅) had her first full day of grazing with the other goats today instead of staying in the front yard with her dog siblings.

It’s safe to say that she is boujee, and missed her blankie and AC🤍

I’ll introduce Ouiser Boudreaux more since she’s a keeper, but we have to find out who baby daddy is first!

I’m finally getting around to posting our newest permanent champions on the farm, but I couldn’t find the emails so ADGA’s notification will have to work😅

Even though Chicklet passed last year, we’re still super excited to finally give her her flowers for officially becoming GCH 2D Delao Roll Like Chicklets 2*M 91VEEE💐 We only had Chicklet for a short time, but she blessed us with triplet daughters {sire: CH TrulyBlue SweetNitrousChip} who all share her attitude😅

I took some barn photos of the three heathens earlier (obviously they were dying because of being set up):

- Red Sand Farms C Smokeshow (restricted leg won at Browsin’ the Pines 2025)
- Red Sand Farms C Smoke&Mirrors
- Red Sand Farms C Steele Heart (restricted leg won at HLSR 2025)

Our Mother’s Day might’ve looked a little different, but that’s the way we like it! We spent the afternoon cleaning out stalls, the main hall way of the barn, and hanging up new lights in the milk room.

Plus Red Sand Farms Turbo Lil Bitty decided as an 8 y/o retired pasture goat that she would have a surprise baby. So now for her Mother’s Day present, she gets to dam-raise for the first time in her life😅

Happy Mother’s Day everyone💐

Got this year’s CAE/CL test results back! We normally use WADDL, but made the switch this year to Integrated Dairy Services. Super happy with how quick they were to get us these results as well as answering any questions I had!

✨Closet Clean-Out Goat Edition Pt. 2✨

Trying to get the herd head count closer to 30😅

Information about each one is listed under the pictures. Message for more information/prices if interested.

I make it a point to get udder photos of every doe each time they freshen, plus monthly updates to track how they’re developing. I’m slowly staying consistent with those and remembering to post them sometimes😅

Last night I remembered to grab 12-hour fill photos of four of the girls, and they don’t look too terrible for not being show fill photos/udders! I put details under each photo so you know who’s who.

(And don’t judge the fluffy udders - clip job is happening tonight 😂)

Also, I’m working on updated photos of available does and some kids we originally planned to keep… until we did a headcount 😅 That post should be coming later this week!

🎉Our new Lamancha junior herd sire has finally arrived at the farm all the way from Missouri🎉

We’re super thankful for Mrs. Andrea with Forrest-Pride Dairy Goats for working with us to get this fella back to Louisiana, and can’t wait to see what he’ll contribute to our herd!

Dam and sire photos in the comments.

Our newest addition is making his way down south to the farm! We can’t wait to see him in person and introduce him🤩
