My wife gave me permission to buy myself another goat for Father’s Day. Everyone meet Gloria! She doesn’t eat much and is very quiet, and I was assured that she won’t test the fences. She’s gonna reside in our herb and raised bed garden! 😂😂

I made the most of the rainy weather this afternoon since I got off work at noon. Got our carrots canned, bringing the tally to 20 pints and counting from one raised bed. While the canner was going I made a batch of beard balm and some dandelion lotion bars. Then finished another small spoon. Hopefully I can get out to the garden tomorrow and fingers crossed that nothing has drowned or washed away.

The skies are angry again. Looks like another round of heavy rain and storms for us. Stay safe everyone!

With the rain we’ve had recently and some pretty gusty winds today, I had several pepper plants laying down. So I broke out the stakes and stood them back up and tied them off. Hopefully they’ll be ok. And our habaneros are loaded and getting close so there’ll be some hot sauce in the near future.
