Hey y'all!
It's been a minute since I've been on here. Oops.
I got hacked, and life changed, and, and..... well. Stuff happens.
But your foodie girl is BACK and will be posting food here.
On today's food goodness.....
Mini grown up grilled cheese sliders with autumn squash soup..
So -I take the easy route with the soup. I just buy the Panera premade soup because I love it. I'm not TOTALLY homemade. Just "mostly"!
But the sliders... YEAH BABY-
I used little mini Hawaiin rolls because I had them left over from Thanksgiving and they were ready to GO. I sliced in half, slathered on butter on the insides, which will be the outsides. On the inside- layered fig jam, proscuitto, brie cheese, carmelized onions and arugula. It's still good without arugula if you're not a fan- but it really raises the flavor melody a notch.
Toast them in a pan, and there you go- a quick and easy, A YUMMY lunch!
