Kikos of Texas We first got our start raising goats when my three daughters became involved in 4-H and FFA. As time and circumstances progressed, our love and interest grew.

Soon, I discovered the kiko breed. With our busy lifestyle, working full time and raising a family, the kikos seemed to be the logical choice. Their low-maintenance lifestyle and heartiness made it possible to continue into the goat industry. Our goal here at Kikos of Texas is to produce animals that thrive in a commercial setting and selectively choose genetics that will improve our herd. Continu

ally selecting animals with good feet, parasite resiliance, and mothers who can wean twins with high weaning weights and good carcas quality. While also making kikos available for beginning and seasoned goat enthusiasts.

Well its been a tough week but we are blessed not to have water in our house we had some damage and big mess to clean up. The goats made it through but it was rough on them they wear stressed the ones in the barn were in water almost up to there belly. Was due to flush 2 does on the 31 my second failed attempt to have a successful flush, not giving up yet! The water is almost gone and the sunshine is drying things out its like anew beginning
