Today is opening day of Vermont’s black bear season, and Orange Custom Game Processing is accepting bears for processing!

Successful this season? Bring your bear to us for professional processing and get the most out of your harvest.

We offer custom cutting and packaging, with plenty of options to turn your bear into quality meat for the freezer.

Attention Hunters!

If you have venison or other wild game in your freezer that you've been meaning to bring in, now is the time!

To prepare for the upcoming hunting seasons, Orange Custom Game Processing will be pausing production of the following products from September 1 through January 15:

• Snack Sticks
• Summer Sausage
• Bologna
• Hot Dogs
• Kielbasa
• Jerky

If you'd like any of these products made from your game, please bring your meat in before September 1.

During the fall hunting season, our focus shifts to processing the large volume of incoming deer and other wild game as quickly as possible. This seasonal pause helps us provide faster turnaround for everyone.

We’ll begin making venison snack sticks, sausage, jerky, and more starting January 13. If you’ve been waiting to get your venison turned into value-added products, here’s what we offer:
