Community Harvest may be over, but picking season isn’t! The Free State family will be in the vineyard through September, picking until the vines are bare.🍇

Fun fact: These are the only buckets we use for Community Harvest!

Make sure you visit CHILDS BUILDING SUPPLY - ACE HARDWARE during their annual CMN Bucket Sale. It’s a small tradition that combines two things we love: philanthropy and picking grapes!

GOOD MORNING FROM OUR RED GRAPE HARVESTERS!🍇

Round 2 is officially underway, and THIS is what Community Harvest is all about! Smiling faces, lots of laughs, and high-energy people willing to get up early and get their hands on some grapes.

To everyone who showed up this morning: THANK YOU. Seeing these rows filled with familiar faces, new friends, families, and neighbors year after year means more to us than we can say. We quite literally couldn’t do this without you!

SET. THOSE. ALARMS. Harvest is TOMORROW! 🍇✨

And if you’re going to wake up early, you might as well wake up to SUNRISE YOGA IN THE VINEYARD.

We’re kicking off Community Harvest at 6:30 AM with an easy morning flow among the vines before we get to picking. Come stretch, breathe, watch the vineyard wake up around you, and then stick around for one of our favorite mornings of the entire year.

Here’s the game plan:

6:30 AM — Sunrise Yoga with
Start the morning with a gentle flow in the vineyard. No need to be a yoga pro—we’re just getting stretched out and ready to pick!

After yoga — Harvest time!
We’ll get everyone oriented, your 2026 Harvest shirt while supplies last, grab those buckets, and head into the vines to bring in the reds.

Then we celebrate!
Grape stomping, complimentary breakfast and plenty of time to enjoy the morning with your favorite people.

What started with green and white has made its way through red, blue, yellow, purple, neon green—and now, 2026 belongs to ORANGE. 🍊 ✨

EIGHT years of Community Harvest. EIGHT different looks. Thousands of pounds of muscadines picked along the way.

And we’re not finished yet.

Round 2 is THIS SATURDAY, August 22 from 6:30–11 AM! Come help us bring in the reds, get your hands purple, and earn this year’s orange Harvest shirt while supplies last.

Our vineyard manager, Claws, has reviewed the situation and decided the people deserve FREE T-SHIRTS. 😸✨
There is, however, a small catch: you gotta work for it!

Come pick with us at Community Harvest this Saturday, August 22, from 6:30–11 AM and snag your complimentary Harvest shirt while supplies last! Claws will be overseeing operations from his usual management position… and occasionally sleeping directly on the merchandise.

Bring your family, round up your friends, and come make a morning of it—picking grapes, stomping grapes, enjoying breakfast, and having plenty of fun in the vineyard.
