Mugs n Jugs Chili Team Chili cook off team based in Orange, CA Mugs n Jugs is a team that started by Scott, Shawnna, Amber and Karl as a bowling team for a monthly bowling league.

After a visit to the Tustin Chili Cook-Off in June of 2012, Karl and Scott had the brilliant idea of getting a booth the next year so we had a place to drink our mugs of hoppy goodness. We signed up for the 2013 cook-off and came with a cardboard sign and 36 gallons of our cherry wood smoked pork butt chili. After dishing out over 4,600 one ounce tasters of chili and being told we had the "best ch

ili hands down, where can we buy it", we had to do it again and create the Mugs n Jugs brand of chili that we hope to take to the next level. Stay tuned to see what the future holds.

Chapman University Chili Cook-Off prep has started for the Mugs n Jugs Chili Team! Thank you to Stater Bros. Markets for supplying us with quality pork butt, Kingsford Charcoal for the best charcoal and of course to The Woodshed for the cherry wood that gives our Chili is distinct flavor that has given us a win the past two years!

Great day at the cook off but being beat by a team who brought over 7 variations of chili and the judges liking bland canned chili kind of stung. Can't win em all.
