Sadly, we will not be milking or making goat dairy products this year. The store will remain closed, please call if you're interested in our pasture raised meat and eggs and make an appointment to come by to purchase meat (goat, pork, eggs) Please have a happy healthy summer!

That would be our Karakachan dog Otto, lying his head on Cardi (yes, a goat), Orphaned and bottle fed, Cardi grew up to think shes one of the livestock guardian dogs and neither Buck nor Otto in the past 2 years has tried to convince her otherwise.

It's been wonderful working with Andrea from O'Brien Farm on recipes for yogurts and kefir for their milk (cow). While we're not producing any goat dairy products this year, we hope those of you who can eat cow dairy will head over to the O'Brien's farmstand on Holtshire Rd in Orange for the creamy yoghurt and silky smooth kefir. Up here we are still selling eggs and meat but the store is open by appointment only (DM or email me!)

We made a new batch of yogurt this week! Our milk is richer now that we are milking fewer holsteins. Rachel and I tinkered with the incubation temperature, and now the yogurt has a great cream top on it.

Any of our goat owning friends own the mini goat disbudding tip that fits the rhinehart x-50?
Or any other disbudder we could borrow for a lovely little Dowling who is too small for the standard kid tip.
