Because I raise KuneKune pigs for meat purposes it’s only right to share the quality of grass fed home grown pork.
A few weeks ago, 5 pigs (1 large, 2 medium and 2small) left the Dougharty Farm after living their absolute best life with us.
Now, remember KuneKune pigs are on the smaller side. Which is why they are great for people who don’t have a ton of land or who want to keep grass in their pig areas. Their yield and cut size will be smaller but the meat is a beautiful marbled red that is very tender and tasty. It’s taken me a few tries and attempts to get this quality of meat but I am very happy with this last go around.
Today I picked up 230lbs of fresh pork.
Bacon, sausage, ground pork, pork steaks, pork chops, 6 whole hams, ribs, and a large bag of lard for rendering down and making things with it or to simply cook with it.
