Say Bye-Bye-Bye to the summer menu! This is the last week to get your summer favorites, 'cuz next week we have to change over to fall y'all! So run, don't walk and enjoy one more Jamaican me Crazy or Margheritaville pizzetta, or the Thai One On and Cal-Ital fusion pasta dish, or the Turkey Farm panini.
Come on in and enjoy the taste of summer one last time; through Sunday or until we run out.

A Note of Gratitude From Mode
We would like to thank those of you who were able to come to Mode last Sunday to honor, pay your respects to, and show your love for Tracy Samantha Davis.
She would have been so overjoyed and humbled to see the turn out.

Tracy is my precious daughter, Randy’s beloved wife, friend, and business partner, a big sister, sister in law, niece, auntie, cousin, Godmother, Goddaughter, Granddaughter, daughter in law, a wonderful and loyal friend, an entrepreneur, a dreamer and a doer. There’s no one else like her on the planet.

There are no words that adequately describe how devastating this loss is to all of us.
When you come to Mode and look around, you will see her creative touch, her love for Mode, and her genius is everywhere.

We would like to thank those who have donated to GoFundMe or privately to Tracy and Randy.
Thank you to everyone who has worked shifts to enable us to keep Mode open while Tracy was in the hospital and since her passing. Thank you to all who prayed for 9 months while she was being treated for Leukemia, and to those now praying for us, her family. Thank you for donating blood. Blood banks save lives!
Donate again in Tracy’s honor.

Tracy will be missed forever by her family, friends, and community, but you can help keep her legacy alive by continuing to come to Mode to support Tracy & Randy’s restaurant; their dream. We appreciate you all.

Dear Mode Family,
It is with heavy hearts, that we need to share with you the tragic news that Tracy Samantha Losch Davis passed away on August 20th, after she lost her courageous battle with Leukemia.
She fought for 9 horrifyingly rough months and never once complained. She just did whatever treatments her Dr prescribed; with such dignity, hope, and strength, because she wanted her life back.
The last round of chemo was risky and instead of curing her, it took her life.

Tracy was the heart and soul of Mode Brewing, although she'd never admit it. She was beautiful, intelligent, witty, hard working, energetic, loyal, hysterically funny, charming, generous, determined, fiercely independent, a dreamer and a doer, a creative genius, the strongest person we know, with such a loving and kind heart.
She had a smile that would light up any room. She knew all of your names, your dogs' names, and your kids' names too. To win your business? No, because she truly cared about you. She loved you all so much.

Tracy and husband Randy Davis co-own Mode Brewing and Kitchen in Orangevale. It was Tracy's dream that they made happen together.
Another dream Tracy had was she wanted guests to feel like 'friends' when they came to Mode, and that's what she accomplished; life long friends.

We would like to thank all of you friends and family members who have picked up shifts and worked anywhere and everywhere needed, to help us while Tracy was in and out of the hospital. You did that out of love for Tracy not duty, and we will be forever grateful.
None of us are sure how we are going to survive this great loss, and move on without her at Mode and in life, but in order to keep her dream alive we must try; one day at a time.

Thank you also to the 100s and 100s of you who prayed that Tracy would win the cancer battle and get her miracle. She never lost hope and you never stopped praying. Please continue your prayers for the family. There are no words that adequately describes how heartbroken we all are. I have cried millions of tears for my remarkably talented first born and immensely loved child who still had more dreams to dream.....more things to do.

A service will be announced at a later date, and we are kindly requesting no flowers be dropped off at the restaurant. Just show your love and support by stopping by Mode and supporting this extraordinary family owned business, where everything is made from scratch and with love. That's what Tracy would want.

This weekend has a fair frenzy feel to it so we thought some fair fare was in order! This week’s special is a fair food favorite - Fried Pickles. Our fried pickles start with house made pickles, of course. We use our blond ale to b**r batter them then we fry them up and serve them with Creole remoulade for dunking. They are absolutely dill-licious and available this week only!

With our Grown-Up Mac + Cheese being featured in several magazines in the region not to mention being one of our best selling dishes, we were flying high thinking we’d reached the pinnacle of perfection. That it couldn’t get any better. We were wrong. So very, very wrong…

This week’s all new Sidekick Special is Fried Mac & Cheese Bites!! Italian herb panko crusted, fried golden brown and served with our spicy sicilian tomato sauce - NOW it can’t get any better than this!! The beans are back in town! Yes, these lovely local legumes are one of our best selling sidekicks year after and why wouldn’t they be? These sassy string beans are summer at its finest. Tempura battered and dressed up with our spicy asian bbq, sweet white sesame miso sauce and sprinkled with togarashi seasoning (Japanese 7 spice). (Gluten free & Vegan).
