Two weeks of Fine O’ Char ❤️‍🔥

I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since we opened! These past two weeks have been busy, exciting, exhausting, and incredibly rewarding.

We’ve received so much love and support from our friends, family, and the Oregon City community. Every customer who stopped by, came back, brought friends, shared our posts, or simply encouraged us means more than you know.

There’s a lot of hard work behind every plate, but seeing people enjoy our food makes it all worth it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and Fine O’ Char in any way. Your love, encouragement, and support mean more to me than you know. ❤️

My first time live on TV and I was definitely nervous! 😅 But the KATU team made me feel so comfortable and made the whole experience so much fun.

She’s coming home to her roots in Oregon City, using the experience she gained from her dear friend & former boss chef Gregory Gourdet of Kann, while making gluten-free food inspired by her mother’s Thai cooking.

Chef Varanya Geyoonsawat just opened Fine O’ Char, a food cart at Oregon City Brewing Company. You’ll find a gluten-free menu with dishes that pack a punch of flavor - like Thai Fried Chicken, Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips, Crispy Garlic Pork Belly, and Crying Tiger Flat Iron Steak - just to name a few.

She says her husband came up with the name to represent the eight years she spent in fine dining while working with Chef Gregory at Kann and Departure. That’s the “Fine.”

The “O” is for Oregon City, a place she’s called home for more than a decade since moving from Thailand.

“Char” highlights the barbecue and grilled items on her menu.

This weekend is officially my last week working solo.
My husband has made the big decision to leave his job so he can support me and stand beside me at the truck — something I’m deeply grateful for.

Tomorrow, I will be taking a long break for an interview at Streets of Dreams in Oregon City.
I will leave the cart at 4:30pm and I will return for the rest of the service at 6:30pm.

Thank you all for your kindness, patience, and support through every long day. We can’t make it without you all. 🙏🏽❤️

Hi everyone!!!

This Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be very hot here☀️🔥
But Fine O’ Char will still be open on those days. I’ll be checking the weather closely and doing my best to keep the shop running so everyone can stop by and enjoy a good meal.

I truly appreciate every bit of support from all of you.
