I’m happy to report that despite the mayhem of the last month, and the less than stellar performance from the garden, the farm stand is stocked and open today! We’ve got zucchini, rhubarb, onions, potatoes and fennel out today and the stand will stay open until dark or we run out!

Today’s the day!! Our first week of CSA and our first day opening up the farm stand! This week we’ll have snow peas, snap peas, mint, chives and strawberries! The farm stand will operate on an honor system with a cash box and a copy of my Venmo for payment. Prices will be listed but also pay what you can. I endeavor to make sure our community is fed, and while making money is great so is having access to fresh produce and fruit. Come check us out or the corner of Clairmont Way and Whitney Lane in the Hillendale Neighborhood of Oregon City!

Spring is coming! And the rhubarb is very happy about it. We had rhubarb in abundance last season and I’m very much looking forward to forward to putting in shares again this year! I’m cleaning up beds and getting ready to plant all the spring things tomorrow: peas, fava beans, radishes, carrots and beets just to start! And it’s not too late to get your CSA share for this season! We still have plenty of shares available!

Last Fall the wind tore off the back of our greenhouse, so in preparation for this season we upgraded to some fancy corrugated plastic that you can barely tell is there! So happy to have completed this just in time for all our seeds to arrive (and also before the *possible* snow). Here’s to the 2025 growing season!!

CSA Week 12. That’s halfway through the season already! This week we’ve got Sungold tomatoes, Early Girl tomatoes, Mexican Sour Gherkins, Persian Cucumbers, Dujan Zucchini, red and yellow storage onions, basil, eggs and flowers. Oh and Pickles, plum preserves and Apple butter! It’s a haul for sure.
