Small dressage barn in the Lebanon area with a barn work opening for the following part time schedule: Fridays 8 am- 2 pm, Saturdays 4 pm- 9 pm, and Sundays 8 am- 2pm. Prefer 1 person who can work all 3 shifts.

Come join the Woods Edge Farm team, where you will be respected and appreciated for your contributions to our horses’ health and happiness. We are a 23-stall dressage boarding farm located in Oregonia, Ohio looking to add another horse person (or 2!) to the barn family!

The job: Typical barn work duties-- haying, feeding, watering, turnout, bring in, cleaning, horse handling, etc.

What we offer: An enjoyable work environment, with well-behaved horses as well as friendly clients and staff. Above average pay rate, dependent on experience and references; pay is weekly and on time as well as double time paid on worked holidays. Hands-on learning opportunities with horses are also available, if interested. Tack room is heated during winter and cooled during summer and the owner provides snacks and bottled water, as well as hand warmers for those cold days!

What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a positive attitude and attention to detail; someone with horse experience is strongly preferred but we are open to bringing on someone that is looking to learn and gain horse experience. This is a great position for someone looking to get some hands-on experience with horses!

Available schedule: Our current available shifts are Mondays through Wednesdays 7 AM – 3 PM, Fridays and Saturdays 7 AM – 3 PM; these shifts could also be tailored for the right person such as longer shifts, with fewer work days each week, or even different days. Additional day shifts as well as night checks may be available, if desired. The position is available immediately to begin training with full time status starting on November 5. We are also open to having 2 part time people if you are not able to work a full-time schedule.

In search of experienced Stable Manager. 23 stall dressage focused boarding barn near Lebanon, Ohio, seeks an experienced barn manager. This will be a working position to include some turn out/bring in, feeding, stalls, general tidying & cleaning. Management responsibilities include maintaining existing high quality care and attention to detail, staffing, scheduling, ordering of supplies, and client relations. This barn is currently operating smoothly with well established processes and procedures in place. Owners are committed to ongoing improvements to maximize efficiency and ease of daily operations.

Join our team of fantastic staff, supportive ownership, friendly clients and great horses. Owners live onsite. No housing available/provided. Salary commensurate with experience. Weekly pay, double time on worked holidays, PTO. Board for one horse can be negotiated as part of compensation package.

Prior experience managing a barn, to include staffing and client relations, is required. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
