One of my favorite details about this stay was waking up to breakfast made by a private chef every morning, with the menu shaped by whatever was in season.

Since I visited in late summer, breakfast featured squash over polenta cakes with eggs and cooked amaranth, simple, seasonal, and SO good.

I love when a hotel lets the season decide what ends up on the plate. It makes breakfast feel less like a standard hotel amenity and more like an extension of the place you’re visiting.
