With Fall creeping up on us, it's time to get ready for Fall planting!!

Help us save Dugg's leg!! Dugg was in training to be Joe's service dog when he broke his leg. After two months of wearing a splint, the vet thought he'd recover. Unfortunately, the break healed funny and now Dugg needs surgery to remove some bone and do some repairs to his now damaged elbow. If he doesn't get this surgery, he will become permanently lame and lose his leg. Which is a surgery as well. Any help is greatly appreciated! Please share this as well!!

The goats were put into their new barn on Tuesday. Its 16' x 24' and we were going to add birthing stalls but decided to leave it all open and we will put up moveable corrals when they are going to deliver. We are probably not going to breed them this year (it's been crazy busy & we need a break 😉).
Joe started framing up a storage room to put feed and tools in.

Half of the ceiling is on the goat barn.
Temporary windows in place.
Now, Joe is working on gates.
The goats will be moved into their new home this week!

I haven't posted updated pics of the house because it always looked like a hot mess with all the work being done. So, today I finally got some good shots.
We've come a long way in 4 years!!

The upstairs will probably have to wait till next year.

So, things have been a little crazy/busy around here lately. But, work is still getting done.
Today, the new kitchen sink is getting hooked up! 😁

The goat 🐐 barn has been started!! 🥰
There is a large pen for all of them to fit during the cold winter months & a birthing stall for each of them.
There will also be an apartment on top of this. It will be available as a guest house till Johanna is old enough to move in 😉😉
