Mi-Cue Competition BBQ Team

We competed in the 3rd Annual Smokin' On The Docks Rib competition at South Shore Boat Club on Saturday, October 3rd. Out of 13 teams, we were awarded 2nd place! It was a great day of setting up before the sun came up, cooking ribs, and hanging out with friends. Thanks to Jeffrey George Harvey, Cheryl Anderson-Harvey, and Stacy Popovits for surprising us and enjoying the day! We'll definitely be back next year.

We competed in our first The Kansas City Barbeque Society backyard competition in Fairbury, Illinois 0n 8/22. We hit 13th in chicken and 16th in ribs for a 15th place overall. Our food turned out great, but the margins were close and others turned in better food! Either way, we have a great day, and will definitely return next year!

What a great day at Squeals Showdown!!! It was an amazing weather day, we were greeted with a rainbow, lost my keys, locked them in the trailer, but most important - we took first in chicken, 5th in pork, and 11th in ribs (ugh) and brought home the GRAND CHAMPION award! Thanks to Dan Martin and everyone else that puts on this great event every year!

KCBS has been recognizing great barbeque since 1986. Teams deserve trained judges. Become a Certified Barbeque Judge.
