KCBS Judging classes coming to our area soon! These are great to find out what judges are looking for. We've found that it has been beneficial to judge to determine what works and what doesn't when it comes to flavors.

KCBS has been recognizing great barbeque since 1986. Teams deserve trained judges. Become a Certified Barbeque Judge.

Looking for a friendly BBQ rib cooking competition? You're invited to join us on Saturday, May 23 at the Village of Orland Park's first amateur rib competition on Memorial Day weekend! Awards will be presented to the top three winners. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 8.
The event will also feature a parade, live entertainment, kids' activities, bands and fireworks.

With Rib Cook Off Association – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

For the first time, we participated in the Rib Cook Off Association competition at the American Legion Thomas Hartung Post 1977 on August 16th. We placed 13th in Ribs and 14th in Wings out of 20 teams. We also participated in the People's Choice rib event to raise money for the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1977 New Lenox Il. Thanks to Tim Craft, Dirk Mullins, and Jody Harris for running a well-organized (and on time) competition!

Mi-Cue competed in the Squeals Showdown on 7/12 and had a great time. 25 teams were in attendance, and we scored 5th in Pork, 12th in Ribs, and 16th in Chicken for a 10th overall score! Thanks Dan Martin for running a great competition!
