This is how chicks travel! We get them the day after they hatch, and our local post office probably has my number on speed dial because I have to pick up baby chicks so often!! These days I get 8 boxes every four weeks, with about 75-80 chicks per box. They sure are fun when they are tiny!!

Our chickens ride to processing in these ‘modules’. About 25-30 birds fit behind each door, so each module holds 250-300 birds. We currently process 550-570 birds every 4 weeks, so we are almost maxing these modules out!
