Thanks for the 2026 Boysenberry U-Pick memories! We are so grateful to keep Grandpa Rudy Boysen’s heritage boysenberry legacy alive and growing! Please post your favorite boysenberry U-Pick photos here in the comments. We loved hosting the Hanski Family Farms goats! They were a big hit! The Boysenberries were the biggest we’ve ever gotten here at Boysen Berry Farm and also the most delicious! Our last open U-Pick day will be Monday, June 1, 2026! Thank you so much for supporting our farm! We thank all of our local Boysenberry friends who came out to get their hauls, big and small!  One couple came from Iowa, plenty of folks made the 8 hour drive from Anaheim, CA and 2hour drive from Napa and many points in between. We had lots of Bay Area folks and new Boysenberry friends from Nevada, Washington and Texas as well!  We made new Boysenberry friends from India and Germany, too!

Our boysenberries surprised us and gave a second flush of plump, sweet berries just in time for this weekend’s boysenberry U-Pick. Hours 7am-7pm Friday through Monday. 6282 County Rd 23, Orland, CA.
We still have tons of boysenberries down low under the leaves.
PICKER’S TIP: Don’t get poked! Look for berries in the lower portions of our trellised vines, in the shadows, behind leaves. We provide a painter stick to move the leaves aside, or you can bring a leather glove for one hand to assist your hunt for our luscious berries. Field photos taken Thursday, May 28,2026.
Lenora Yancy will provide delicious Yancy Farms Baked Goods this Saturday, May 30. Yum!
We will also offer our Rudy’s Original jams, syrup, heritage boysenberry plants and boysenberry smash pies. Come early, these pies sell out fast!

The baby goats are here at Boysen Berry Farm U-Pick this Memorial Day weekend! Come enjoy taking photos with the goats. This event will be safely supervised. Open 7am-7pm Friday through Monday.
Our boysenberries are ready for U-Pick, so juicy, plump, and ripe! We will also have plenty of our very popular Boysenberry Smash Pies at the farm stand. We smashed together two of our favorite recipes, Boysenberry crisp with a cinnamon crumble topping, and Boysen Berry pie in a delicious shortbread crust. These pies do tend to sell out every time we offer them, so don’t miss out!
Need boysenberry jam or our popular boysenberry syrup? We have plenty of that on hand as well, including our famous Boysenberry Oopsie sauce, a whole berry pour over for ice cream, waffles, pancakes, cheesecake, yogurt…Yum!

Baby Goats and Boysenberry Smash Pies at Boysen Berry Farm U-Pick Memorial Day Weekend! We will host a petting pen during our U-Pick hours, 7am-7pm, Saturday through Monday.
Also offering heritage boysenberry plants at our farmstand! Grow a piece of California history in your own backyard. You’ll taste the difference, the original boysenberry flavor!
Yancy Farms Baked Goods will offer yummy boysenberry themed goodies, too!
Taste our heritage boysenberries fresh off the vine while you pick, The kids might find a painted rock or old horseshoe between the vines to take home.(One per child please.)
We also offer our Rudy’s Original Boysenberry jam, syrup and delicious Oopsie Sauce!

Boysen Berry Farm U-Pick season is in full swing! Open Friday through Monday 7AM-7PM. Sometimes the wind blows a bit here in Orland, but next weekend we expect calmer weather! 45mph gusts knocked over a port-a-Potty, but Johnny-On-The Spot will fix it right away! High winds always win against a port-a-potty! Here at Boysen Berry Farm we had 45mph gusts! The Port-a-Potty company will be up in the morning to clean up! They are wonderful!
We want to thank all of our boysenberry friends who still came out and braved the winds to pick their boysenberries and get their boysenberry smash pies!
More peaceful weather expected next weekend for more U-Pick boysenberries!

Great Story! Thank you Vincent Rupena of KRCR! We will have Boysenberry Smash Pies available here at the farm on Saturday and also at the Napa Farmers Market. Get here early because they go fast! You will also find our heritage boysenberry Plants for sale, plus plenty of boysenberry syrup along with some boysenberry jam and our habit forming boysenberry Oopsie sauce!

Boysenberry U-Pick opens just in time for Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 9, 7am-7pm. Boysenberry Smash pies will also be available, along with our Rudy’s Original Boysenberry jams, Oopsie Sauce and syrup. We’ll have painted rocks for the kids to find. Heritage boysenberry plants also available! Yancv Farm Baked Goods will feature Lenora Yancy’s poundcakes and cookies this Saturday here at Boysen Berry Farm!
