Next week is Labor Day weekend…Blue Hill Fair will be opening. The morning temps are getting cooler and cooler. Loving that. hemmed and hawed on whether to bake and decided to go for it.
Our savory for (9/6) is our homemade lasagna. Lovely homemade noodles and ricotta. Our own marinara sauce. Can’t beat it!
Our sweet is a crustless chocolate chip cookie pie (that’s a mouthful!).
The soup is a good old fashioned chili.
All items can be easily made gluten free. They’re packaged in freezer ready containers. They can placed in the deep freeze 🥶 til later.
Please place your orders by day’s end Thursday (9/3). We thank you and remember to do something kind for yourself and some one else…if you can.

Good morning all. We will be at our first stop this morning on the Winkumpaugh Rd at 10.🤞🤞second stop on Winkumpaugh at 10:10. Then we will take In the sights while traveling thru beautiful Orland. First stop on Toddy at 10:35. Second on Violette’s Way 10:40. Cedar Swamp about 10:45. We go from Lake to another. Alamoosook, first stop 10:55 and second off Soper Rd, 11:10-11:15. Our next town to deliver is Bucksport. 2 stops on River Rd…11:30 and 11:45. We then meander to Bangor and the first stop at noon and our second at 12:10. We leave Bangor and travel along the Penobscot River toward Frankfort. Our last stop there should be around 12.40.

Good Thursday morning folks! It’s that day again to get your order or orders in for delivery or pickup on Sunday the 30th.
Been a busy week or should say end of August. We’re harvesting and preserving as much of the veggies we’ve grown. Sometimes it’s overwhelming; but so worth it. In the middle of the winter; we can enjoy all these goodies instead of buying from grocery stores.❤️ Squirrel 🐿️, John Keezer had been splitting firewood, replacing a deck and getting more jobs done that most people do. We work pretty good as a team.
Please order by day’s end today. Hopefully you’re enjoying the last days of Summer. See you Sunday! ❤️

Good morning one and all! Our deliveries start this morning at 10 on Winkumpaugh! We travel 10 minutes down Winkumpaugh to our second stop. Love close drop offs. Then 10:45 Hurd Point Rd. Bangor x2 Is 11:15. We travel south on River Road and will arrive at our first stop at 11:30 and second stop 11:40. We’re so lucky to get to arrive on Leach St by 11:50. Say goodbye to Bucksport for a small time to travel to Frankfort by 12:05. Back thru Bucksport to Orland. We stop on Gross Point Road and enjoy views of the bay at 12:35. Then 12:45 we will stopping on Lower Falls rd and view the Narramissic River. We move on to Alamoosook at 12:55. Can’t forget Easy St at 1. Our last 3 stops will be on Violette’s Way on Toddy at 1:10, Cedar Swamp 1:15 and Bridges Way off Back Ridge road. We save our lovely Miss Rose for last when we can. That way we can have a longer visit with her.
We shall move along this route with as much speed as we can. Thanks very much!

Next week’s (8/30) offerings shall be an open faced pizza pot pie. We can make it with a lovely marinara or a ricotta based white sauce. Local ground beef and pepperoni 🍕 are the toppings we’re trying. If these don’t sing to you; just add your suggestion.
The sweet is a pear crisp. Pears are seasonal just like our peaches. And the soup is a chicken miso soup. A delicious combination and
healthy probiotics!

Can you believe it’s August 20th already? We’re definitely trying to enjoy Summer whilst doing all the chores to be ready for Winter. Squirrel has been splitting the firewood. I’ve been freezing and canning as much produce and fruit as we harvest. Doing the home projects to button up. There’s always something that needs to be built, fixed or tweaked.
Still in pj’s drinking coffee; watching the birds, the stray cat and just putting off taking on the day. Soon enough!
With that being said…it’s Thursday! Get those orders in by day’s end. Everything can be made gluten free. And everything is in freezer ready containers to set aside for a Winter’s meal.

And that’s a wrap for this week’s deliveries. We’re heading home and wanted thank you all! We’re very lucky and appreciate each and everyone. To those we were able to interact with; thanks for hugs and the compliments. Means a great deal! We also mindful of all the kind and sweet folks we meet along this crazy journey. Next week’s offerings for August 23rd, are Spaghetti Pie or otherwise known as a poor man’s lasagna. Sweet is a Peach or Nectarine/Blueberry Crisp. Both of these are easily made gluten free. The soup is using so many fresh veggies from the garden…minestrone!
If interested, please order by day’s end Thursday (8/20).
