West Virginia has a festival where people JUMP OFF A BRIDGE 876 FEET ABOVE A RIVER (this drop is taller than the Washington Monument) 😳🤯

This is Bridge Day in West Virginia, one of the WILDEST festivals in America! 🇺🇸 Every October, the New River Gorge Bridge closes to vehicle traffic, allowing thousands of visitors to walk across it while BASE jumpers leap into the gorge, parachutes fill the sky, and thrill-seekers take on some seriously INSANE adventures. 🪂

And yes… there’s even a HUMAN CATAPULT that launches people off the bridge!
