I am relieved to report that all the critters at Almost Heaven Vanners, LLC are safe and sound here on the farm, if a little worse for the wear from the torrential storms. Our hearts go out to those who are experiencing the worst of it in Weston and Buckhannon. If anyone is aware of how we can assist with displaced animals please contact us.

Asa! ❤️ Thank you Triple M Performance Horses. What a show - shew. 🥲

Stardust's Spice Girl, better known as "Asa," proved that the girls can hold their own! 🌟🐴

As the only mare on the Triple M show string at Magnolia in the Mountains, Asa had an incredible week full of firsts. This was her first show of the season, her first show under saddle, and her first dressage tests. Considering she has only been under saddle for a short time, we could not be more proud of how she handled herself.

What makes Asa so special is her calm willingness to tackle whatever challenge is put in front of her. She approaches every new lesson with confidence and has an incredible intelligence that allows her to pick things up so quickly. Every ride seems to bring another breakthrough, and that has us very excited about her future.

🏅 4–5 Year Old Mares – 1st & 2nd
🏅 Western Pleasure WJ Novice – 1st & 1st
🏅 Western Pleasure WJ Jr – 4th & 4th
🏅 Jr In-Hand Trail – 5th & 6th
🏅 Western Dressage Intro 1 (Saturday) – 2nd
🏅 Western Dressage Intro 1 (Sunday) – 3rd

While we love the ribbons, what impressed us most was Asa's attitude throughout the week. She walked into every new experience with a willing mind and a kind heart, and that's exactly the foundation we hope to build on.

Congratulations to Almost Heaven Vanners on a wonderful weekend with this talented young mare. We can't wait to see where her journey takes her next!

Our girl Stardust’s Spice Girl - aka Asa - won first place under BOTH judges in her first ever Western Pleasure class under saddle! So proud. Thank you to Triple M Performance Horses for showing this novice mare at her best. 💙💙😭

Asa! Our spicy red head, Stardust’s Spice Girl, will be making her first show appearance under saddle at Tryon International next week! 😍 Thank you to Triple M Performance Horses for giving her such an excellent foundation. Big things in store for this little mare! 🥰

Stardust's Spice Girl — better known around the barn as “Asa” — is headed to Magnolia in the Mountains for an exciting milestone in her career! 🌟🐴

Owned by Almost Heaven Vanners, this talented 5-year-old mare will be making her very first show appearance under saddle. We have been incredibly impressed with how much Asa has learned in only a handful of rides. She is an exceptionally smart mare with a bright future ahead of her, and we are excited to continue watching her confidence and skills grow.

And as the only girl on the Triple M show string this trip… she is definitely keeping the boys in line. 😉
