Uzbakistan day 5 - Bukhara and Samarkand we start our last day in Bukhara in a little town seeing sheep with the biggest asses in the world maybe they made it to our plates a little later. The ladies taught us to make filled dumplings called manti, and showed us how silk was spun and naturally dyed. We then went to a train played 5 crowns all the way to Samarkand. We got to Samarkand and of coarse straight to dinner. At night we saw the beautifully lit up Registan center

Uzbakistan Day 4 Bukhara continued. Saw Ismail Somani musalium and continued to the nearby market. We tasted many local ingredients including bread that was dipped in desert honey on kaymak a white cheese. We went on to gather many ingredients that will be used at night to cook dinner with Aharoni and Nof in an amazing culinary experience. Oh what a day❣️

Uzbakistan day 3. Bukhara. The Jewish part of the city. Went to an old Jewish home that was purchased by a Muslim family who preserved everything that was inside. She showed us around and then said she had something to show us. She walked out with an old Torah scroll and prayer book. We saw the water ways and learned the significance of the Silk Road. Saw many craftsmen in artisan shuks. The colors and the sights AMAZING❣️❣️❣️❣️

Day 2 Tashkent- Spice chorso Bozor market at Tashkent then lunch at Langman house, a tour Hazrati Imam complex Hazrati Imom, a flight to Bukhara and dinnner at Joy.

And we are off. My mom and I flew to Uzbakistan on a culinary trip guided be Aharoni and Nof (Israelis would know) and already ate one of the best meals.
