When I heard there was a new vegan breakfast sandwich at Contempo Cafe I was about to walk over and grab it from home! Sadly, I like to sleep in, so it took me a bit to be able to order this before breakfast ends at 11am.

If you scroll to the end, you can see what it looks like on the mobile order app. The bagel is normal sized and the Just Egg looks great. What I got was a GIANT everything bagel with Just Egg crumbles 😅 They forgot the sausage, so they brought us out 2 and said that’s what it should come with but 2 seems excessive for me. (Not complaining tho!)

📍 Note: you CAN order it with or without plant-based sausage on the app, but on the menu board in-person, they only show it with sausage. So just let them know you don’t want sausage if you want it plain.

I had SUCH high hopes for this, but it was a major disappointment with the amount and preparation of the Just Egg. I will give it another try tho. Let me know if you tried it and what you think! I am glad we are getting more updated quick-serve breakfast options!

It had been a minute since I’d visited City Works Eatery and Pour House at Disney Springs to enjoy the vegan options! Super huge thanks to TheTimTracker for letting us join in their dinner! We had a big group and it was so nice that the 3 vegans were able to eat just as much as the non-vegans! 💚🌱✨

I did get a new vegan option that isn’t noted as such on the menu but checked with the chef and it’s totally vegan as-is! The Thai Chili Bowl is served cold and has a spicy kick to it, which I loved. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ If you aren’t in the mood for an Impossible burger, this is a great option!

Of course the Kung Pao Cauliflower is always a must-order. The flavors here (and again spicy kick) are impeccable! The fried pickles are also accidentally vegan if you switch out to the vegan aioli that comes with the Impossible Burger. Who doesn’t love a fried pickle?! 😍

✨This is the perfect spot for a date night before a movie or show at the (which is exactly what we did!)

🚨 Got some breaking news (to me) at Sanaa the other day!

I think Sanaa may have been the place I’ve been the most with my family and friends over the years, and not once, a single time, have they ever offered a vegan version of the cucumber raita dip with the bread service. Friday night, that all changed. 😳
(If you’re new to Sanaa or here, hi! All the dips with the bread service are vegan except the cucumber raita, which apparently has a vegan version! Just be sure to ask for the vegan 🍞 bread as well since the naan does have dairy in it.)

I had no idea this vegan Cucumber 🥒 Raita existed! I asked if it was new and was told no, so I guess I just got really lucky last time or really unlucky all the other times. 😅 It’s made with coconut oil vs. dairy but tasted essentially the same from what I remember ages ago. Have you had this version of the sauce??

Oh and there’s also a new cauliflower entree! It is Charred Cauliflower rubbed with spices served over a Rajma potato galette, herbed coconut yogurt, and smoked tomato. It also had what I think were gooseberries and raisins in there (and the watermelon radish and regular radish you can see too).

The dish was okay. The parts of the cauliflower that had been basted or sitting in whatever sauce they used were great, but the other parts (most) of the cauliflower was just dry and unseasoned. Wah wah.

The galette was basically the filling of a samosa in flavor, but with the red beans mixed in too, which changed the texture and dried it out. Kind of a bummer cause it’s so pretty to look at.

I would stick with the vegan options on the Potjie-inspired harvest entree options next time.

This new chocolate chip cookie sandwich is a real winner. 🍪

Two freshly made cookies filled with frosting, dipped in chocolate and drizzled with icing, it’s the perfect size for a sugary pick-me-up or chocolate fix.

Currently available at Pop Century, Art of Animation, and All-Star Music Resorts, it should be making its way to all the value resorts by the end of the week and hopefully the moderates soon too.

Here’s the current line up of vegan options in Galaxy’s Edge on both coasts. Thanks to for their photo pf pink milk, which I haven’t gotten out to try yet. Also note the popcorn types change often in the parks so check the app for the latest flavors!
