😱 Don’t let this vegan option sneak by you like it almost did to me! I knew Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club had a new menu, but I glanced quickly at the breakfast and lunch menu and thought it was the same protein bowl that used to be there. Turns out it’s been reimagined and updated with these Hearts of Palm croquettes for lunch and Just Egg added for breakfast.

The quinoa base is the same as previously served, with the Field Roast sausage crumbled up, and the tomato sauce mixed in. Regular diced potatoes instead of sweet potatoes, and that’s it. It’s a very flavorful mix but the croquettes are the star of the show and definitely worth a visit. I’ll have a blog and video review up soon! (For dinner too!)

Have you been to Ale & Compass recently?? 👀

☠️Anything can happen on Halloween, including eating hummus at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs. We lost the Phantom Meatballs this year, in their place is this vegan as-is option! Vegan Passholder (fka VeganDisneyWorld) and I tried it out this week:

🌲🪾The Dark Forest Dip, which is Hummus, Roasted Mixed Mushrooms, Baby Rainbow Carrots, Toasted Pumpkin
Seeds, and Pita Chips.

📌Pro Tip from Gluten Free Gina To make it gluten-free, switch to the Plantain Chips (there was a mix up on ours where our server thought the pita had dairy but we confirmed later the pita chips are vegan as is (thanks ladies!). (Always good to triple check tho!)

This was a fun option, not too outrageous at $12, I do wish we had a more substantial option since the mine cart meatballs aren’t on the regular menu anymore either. A nice pre-dinner starter with drinks. Melissa got the Viper’s Nest without gummy worms and I got the Midnight Relic.

Let me know if you check this one out for the Halloween season!

I thought the song choice was perfect to honor one of my favorite humans ever in the world, Tim Curry. 🖤

🍽️ River Belle Terrace has some fun vegan options for us, with a hearty meatloaf with a bbq glaze, a hummus plate that’s great for sharing (and has vegan feta!), and a don’t-skip-it plant-based crème brûlée that’s creamy and delicious.

✨ The best part of dining at River Belle Terrace is the outdoor dining, where you are surrounded by the sights and sounds of Disneyland while you eat. 😍

👉 What’s your can’t-skip food at Disneyland??

🚨 Just your friendly reminder that popcorn 🍿, pretzels 🥨, and Dole Whip 🍨 is accidentally vegan as-is! These snacks are staples of theme park foodies and I love that we can enjoy them without any modifications needed!

Here are some reminders:

🍿 The “buttered” popcorn at all parks is not dairy butter and safe to eat. The maple popcorn in Canada at EPCOT is also safe to eat! Kat Sakka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge usually is too but I always check the allergy binder there just in case anything has changed.

🥨 Mickey pretzels and giant pretzels in the parks are vegan as-is. If you get one from a non-Disney-owned restaurant, double check as they may use butter in the dough or glaze. Just say no thanks to the cheese dipping sauces!

🍦 Dole Whip fruit flavors are vegan as-is, except for coconut which is soft serve and not vegan. If the menu says soft serve, it is not Dole Whip and not vegan. You can always check ingredients to be sure!

What’s your go-to vegan snack in the Disney parks? 🍿🥨🍦

Every now and then I like to check and make sure my favorites are still on the menu because you just never know with vegan options. 😅

🙌 Happy to report this little plant-based beauty is still kicking it over at the Territory Lounge inside Disney’s Wilderness Lodge resort! It looks a little different, like it’s not as cheesy looking but it’s still as delicious.

🌶️ It’s got a kick because of those spices in the sausage and the peppers on top, but it’s just an amazing option and if you haven’t tried it, you need to get to the territory lounge and give it a go. It’s a nice boat ride from Magic Kingdom!

📍Territory Lounge, Wilderness Lodge
🧀 Spicy Macaroni and Cheese - $18
Chorizo-style “Sausage”, Pepper Jack “Cheese” WhistlePig 10 yr Straight Rye Whiskey-pickled Chiles Spiced Gremolata (Contains alcohol)

08/04/2026

🍪 It’s National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and we can celebrate across the parks and resorts with these plant-based cookies!

🍪 Have you had all of these vegan options? Which one is your favorite?

🍪 Let me know if you need more info on any of them!
