One thing I’ve realized lately is that impact doesn’t always feel impactful in the moment.
Most days aren’t exciting.
Most days look like shopping for produce.
Making pickles.
Packing containers.
Loading the truck.
Setting up a tent.
Breaking it down.
Going home.
Then doing it all over again.
The truth is, building something meaningful can feel incredibly repetitive.
Sometimes I get so caught up in the routine that I forget why I started.
I don’t always get to see the ripple effect.
I don’t always hear the stories.
I don’t always know who’s being inspired, encouraged, or reminded that change is possible.
But I’ve learned something important:
Just because you don’t feel the impact doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
A teacher doesn’t always know which lesson changed a student’s life.
A parent doesn’t always know which conversation stuck.
A business owner doesn’t always know which story gave someone hope.
Sometimes the most meaningful things happen quietly.
Behind the scenes.
Out of sight.
And maybe that’s the lesson.
Not every purpose-filled life feels exciting every day.
Sometimes purpose looks a lot like repetition.
Showing up.
Doing the work.
Staying consistent.
Trusting that what you’re building matters even on the days it feels ordinary.
Because impact isn’t measured by how often you feel it.
It’s measured by the lives it touches.
And sometimes you’ll never fully know how far that reach goes.
