Boone High School Key Club student volunteers at the Kiwanis Club of South Orlando's annual Thanksgiving Turkey Smoke.

Proceeds go toward the purchase of new bikes and other gifts for local children in need.
Kiwanians held the *Beth Wise* Bike Build on December 9th, assembling all the bicycles for this Christmas season.

Nearly 100 years ago.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY: Daisy Herbert regularly accompanied her husband, Theodore, to make ice deliveries around Barnegat, NJ, in the 1920s and 1930s. Covering her route in a one-ton truck, she handled approximately 1,500 pounds of ice per day from 6:30 in the morning until 5:30 at night.

A group of Boone High School Key Club volunteers assisted the *Kiwanis Club of South Orlando* with their Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Smoke. Proceeds from the Turkey Smoke support their annual Bike Build and other projects for kids in the South Orlando area.

Kirk's Ice is honored & proud to support the Kiwanis Club of South Orlando with their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Smoke, that was held on Nov 23rd and 24th.
The 2021 Turkey Smoke event was a big success. Funds raised go toward the purchase of new bikes for kids.
