Part-Time Cake Decorator / Pastry Assistant
Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery – Orlando, FL
Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery is seeking an experienced Part-Time Cake Decorator / Pastry Assistant to join our team. We are an award-winning bakery and ice cream shop known for our custom cakes, pastries, desserts, and exceptional customer experience.
Schedule
• 10–15 hours per week
• Shifts will be on Saturdays and Sundays
• Additional weekday hours may be available based on business needs and holiday production schedules
Pay
• $16-$20 per hour, based on experience and skill level
Responsibilities
• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and specialty desserts
• Fill, glaze, and finish éclairs
• Bake and decorate cookies
• Prepare mousses, fillings, and pastry components
• Assist with pastry and dessert production
• Fill and maintain bakery display cases
• Complete customer and special orders accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
• Previous cake decorating experience required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment
• Experience with buttercream, piping, and basic pastry production preferred
• Must submit photos of cakes or desserts you have personally decorated
