I was lucky enough to check out a new Coral Springs, FL, restaurant called Ember & Vine during their soft opening Friends and Family event the other day. This gorgeous restaurant is in a shopping center that was my old stomping ground before moving to central Florida. I must say, Ember & Vine is definitely giving me a reason to return. First, the décor is absolutely stunning with its multiple seating areas, rock walls, and gorgeous bamboo lamps! The restaurant provides a welcoming environment that beckons you in and makes you want to stay and socialize with friends and family – truly a place made to gather. I will say it gets a bit loud in the space, but that’s easy to overlook because everything else is wonderful. The staff is truly excited about their grand opening.
Many items are gluten-friendly, and the dinner menu is properly marked. They even have a separate menu for you – and yes, you can get GF Baked Alaska. I was there for breakfast service, and enjoyed the best vegetable frittata I’ve ever tried, not to mention an incredible Cold Brew Smores Coffee featuring 360F SPECIALTY COFFEE ROASTERS – minus the graham cracker crumbs.
I spoke with the Assistant Manager, Maegan, and Gabby, who handles the Social Media for the restaurant, who also told me that this is one of many interesting concept restaurants the ownership group has in the area. One of the things I learned is that when anyone with a food allergy arrives, a card is filled out and sent immediately to the chef.
Although there are multiple GF desserts for dinner, there are no sweet offerings yet for breakfast. That will hopefully change in the future, as opening day is August 3. Breakfast options include the vegetable frittata and a European Continental Breakfast platter that can be served without the crostini. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you are in the Coral Springs area – it is also worth the drive.
