We utilize sustainable and regenerative farming practices, which honor the land and grow healthy food for our community. We sell 100% grassfed beef, pastured chickens, pork, and eggs. We use only Freedom Ranger breed chickens raised exclusively on pasture and organic, local feed from Windy Acres Farm. All of our meat is hormone and antibiotic free. e eggs. Our layer chickens live on the pastures and receive 100% organic, local feed from Windy Acres Farm. We also offer a 6 month CSA which includes a monthly share of chicken, pork and beef. Our Story

Windy Acres Farm in Orlinda, TN was founded by Alfred and Carney Farris in 1985. In January 2020, Lyle and Sam Harvey took over as caretakers of the farm and are honored to be carrying on the Farris’ legacy of stewardship and caring for the soil, animals and earth with the highest organic, sustainable and regenerative farming principles.

We grow Certified Organic grains and livestock feed for sale on the farm. Joelton Hardware and Feed and Hillsboro Hardware sell our Organic Layer Feed.

We raise 100% grassfed beef, pastured chicken, pork, and eggs. We use only Freedom Ranger breed chickens raised exclusively on pasture and organic, local feed from Windy Acres Farm.
