Walton Family Ranch Walton Family Ranch is located in Grangemont, Idaho (between Orofino and Pierce, ID). We produce Grain finished purebred angus beef by the whole, 1/2, or 1/4.

We are sold out for our 2026 July/August butcher steers. Anyone who wasn’t contacted will still be on our waiting list for next year’s group. We haven’t had many customers drop off, and can refer you to some friends that also raise top quality, properly finished beef.

Grinding barley. We use it as a cattle feed supplement, for finishing Steers, creep feeding calves, and part of our chicken feed. The dog and barn cats are caught eating it occasionally also 😎

The finishing process started April 1st for our July/August 2025 group of steers, and we are fully booked. For the next four months, every 12 hours, their locally grown grain ration is fed out. This is in addition to free choice locally grown grass and alfalfa hay.
