led Safe Haven Heirloom Farms located in central California. Life on the farm is full of opportunity to learn and teach important life skills. Skills like hard work, dedication to detail, patience, tenacity and humility are all in a days work! It has been said that "If you can be a farmer you can do anything!" With that in mind we strive to plant these skills within our young men and women. The Bible was written to an agricultural society, and is filled with important principals and examples of how we should live. We use this agricultural perspective to teach and train our students both in the physical and spiritual, skills necessary for a bountiful life. It is a rewarding experience, to see this come to life in our student volunteers as they get their hands dirty, growing in Torah. The Vision
Safe Haven Heirloom Farms is the vehicle to help sustain the ministry of Growing in Torah. The students plant, grow, and harvest the produce. Weekly boxes of high quality, non-GMO, heirloom produce are distributed to those in California who purchase shares. Those outside of our area wanting to be part of GIT, purchase shares and they are distributed to widows, or to those who are in need.
