I would say onion harvest is going pretty well. I planted Spanish Sweet onions, these grow amazing in the Okanagan valley. I also planted a few Walla Walla sweet and Ailsa Craig Onion. The Walla Walla grew .....ok. The Ailsa Craig are the ones that are coming in at over 2 lbs. All of my onions are grown from seed.

This morning picking some produce for a friend I found this bit of ridiculousness! This carrot is absurdity large. I was running late and needed to get out of the house for church so I did not get a weight or a measurement on it. But really! Is that a small watermelon or a large carrot 🤣

I guess I will be harvesting carrots in the next week or so.

Hmmm....so many watermelon! Guess watermelon lemonade is in store for the lunch boxes 😉

This is where growers can bring excess fruit or vegetables to one of the Countys 9 food pantries! Absolutely the best way to deal with an abundance of food.
