Every ranch has that one animal who thinks they’re in charge… and around here, that’s Mr. Mean goat. 😂🐐 When the girls started getting a little too spicy, he stepped in to settle things down.

My husband will happily handle cows, goats, pigs… pretty much anything the ranch throws at him. 😂 But there’s ONE chore he absolutely dreads every single time. 🤢

I don’t think people realize how much work goes into making something truly homemade… 🫶🏻

Fresh plums became a swirl of homemade ice cream, eggs from our chickens became custard, and giant garden zucchinis became bread. 🍑🍞

A whole day of creating… for one unforgettable dessert. 🍦

All I wanted to do was treat the pigs to some pumpkins from the garden. Simple, right?

Wrong. 😅

The second I walked into the pen, it became a race to smash pumpkins before I got bulldozed by a bunch of very excited pigs. Safe to say… they were very happy with today’s snack. 😂
